How and when and by whom should you be evaluated?

The In-Class Evaluation schedule for AY 2007-2008

Peer Reviews/in Class Visitations:

1. Faculty seeking tenure: a peer visit in one course per semester, covering all classes taught. The rules say the classes to be evaluated are to be assigned by the chair. See me about this.

2. Faculty who are tenured but seeking promotion: one peer visit per year.

3. Faculty who are tenured full professors: upon request of faculty member

4. Faculty who are full time temporary lecturers: one course per year.

5. Faculty who are part time temporary lecturers: one course in the first semester, then at least every third semester thereafter. The peer review is required of all temporary faculty for continued employment.
