Are you getting tired of dancing football players, cutthroat cooks, half naked contestants eating maggots, wanna-be celebrities "pimping" their rides, their cribs, their spouses? Most reality TV shows focus on personal gain - become better looking, be the sole survivor, marry a millionaire - as if those are the only valuable rewards, but what if reality TV-style competition featured contestants trying to tackle important social concerns like housing, health care or consumer debt?

MAKING IT RIGHT is a documentary that chronicles the making of a new kind of reality TV show where four teams of diverse college students compete in a series of challenges to solve real problems in the community.

How do today's college students respond to the idea and the experience of being on such a show? Will their solutions work? Are the student ideas better than existing ones? Do the teams function in a cooperative fashion, or do their personalities and real-life concerns get in the way of working effectively? Who wins? MAKING IT RIGHT challenges its participants and its viewers to think creatively and to join with teams on the show in finding new and exciting approaches to living in the REAL real world.

Bob Gliner is an award winning documentary director and producer with some 35 programs to his credit, many of which have appeared on PBS stations around the nation (see www.docmakeronline.com) .
